Bitrails ("we", "us") is a small, founder-led digital agency offering web development and ads management services. This policy explains what information we collect through bitrails.dev, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

The only personal information we collect is what you choose to submit through the contact form on this site:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your message
  • Optionally, your budget range
  • Optionally, which service you are interested in

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry, understand your project, and put together a written scope and quote if it is a fit. We do not use contact form submissions for any other purpose.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run this site and respond to inquiries:

  • Resend — delivers the emails generated when you submit the contact form (a notification to us and a confirmation to you).
  • Cloudflare — hosts this site and, as part of standard web hosting, may automatically log basic connection information (such as IP address) for security and performance purposes, common to virtually all websites.
  • Cloudflare D1 — if enabled, contact form submissions are also stored in this database for our own record-keeping, subject to the same retention period described below. This is an internal operational option and does not change what is collected or why.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for up to 24 months from the date you submit them, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so (see "Your rights" below).

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not use your contact details for marketing, newsletters, or any purpose beyond responding to your inquiry, unless you separately and explicitly ask to be added to a mailing list.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We set no cookies to track your behavior across visits or across other sites. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@bitrails.dev and we will handle your request directly — there is no automated system to navigate.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and update the effective date above.
